A Rainy Day in Hyderabad,India

God! 2nd September 2005, Can any one say that it's a rainy day , rather it could be said as Floods occurred in hyderabad.
I Started from the office after waiting for the rain to stop, but it would not stop at all. Sometimes I think as if I am acting smart and taking wise decisions, but in reality they turn out the opposite.
So It happened again ....
Being in a hurry to reach home i forgot about the path way i have to travel...
Oh gosh so much traffic and i confirmed at that moment that i cannot reach home atleast until i spend 3 hours , thought that the other way round would make it easier and went ahead.
Lo but here the roads are filled with water all over but i think i can cross this and landed ultimately in front of Raj bhavan. Slowly I cud make my way towards the front of the traffic , there what i see is the reason for people waiting with their vehicles.... the road is blocked with water .. its just as if a river is flowing and there is no bridge to cross it, some heavy vehicles are making thru that water , so i thought even my small scooty can move instead of waiting .. as i took a step forward people started shouting -- madam ji , your vehicle will be drowned , don't go , but vinaash kaale vipareeth buddhi- so went ahead.
With the hefty vehicle and the water drowning me and my scooty and pushing us to a side whenever a four wheeler drived by ... balancing thru it very strongly at last after half an hour i cud cross the river as i said. ah ! a sigh of relief.
But the next problem.... kicked the starter and it wud not run , the water spread into the its stomach how wud it start. an other half an hour and it wud not start...... the end had to ask my family members to pick me up. Got home with all the pain and strength lost.
Thank God ! at least I reached Home.
